Four schools in Tower Hamlets have earned the Healthy Schools for London Gold Award
after introducing the Active Movement programme to their everyday routine.

Over a twelve month campaign, Chisenhale Primary, Manorfield Primary, Mowlem Primary,
and Solebay Academy have worked with Tower Hamlets Council’s Healthy Lives Team and
Active Movement to integrate less sitting and more movement across the entire school.

This prestigious award was made after post-campaign evaluation demonstrated the
powerful effect of Active Movement on increasing daily activity in and out of school.
